Job Title: Senior Python Developer / Backend Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Developer with over 5 years of hands-on expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services. In this role, you will design and maintain robust web applications, engineer optimized database schemas, and build seamless RESTful APIs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, leveraging modern DevOps practices to deliver clean, maintainable, and production-grade software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
•    Backend Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and high-throughput backend services using Python, Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
•    API Engineering: Design and integrate secure, highly performant, and well-documented RESTful APIs.
•    Data Management: Architect, optimize, and manage relational and non-relational database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
•    Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, reusable, and highly maintainable code. Actively participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to software development best practices.
•    DevOps & Infrastructure: Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments across Linux environments utilizing Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
•    Cloud Integration: Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy, scale, and monitor backend infrastructure.
•    Performance Optimization: Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, ensuring robust security protocols and data protection standards are met.
•    Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional engineering and product teams within an Agile/Scrum framework to deliver high-quality features that enhance user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
•    Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience primarily focused on Python backend ecosystems.
•    Core Frameworks: Advanced proficiency in Python and its major frameworks (Django, Flask, and FastAPI).
•    Databases: Strong hands-on experience with both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, including query optimization and schema design.
•    Tooling & DevOps: Solid experience with Git, GitHub, Linux environments, Docker, and automated continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
•    Cloud Architecture: Familiarity with deploying and managing applications on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
•    Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Proven track record of creating clear technical documentation and collaborating across engineering teams.
