Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Analyst to analyze business requirements, evaluate software systems, and support the design and implementation of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with developers, testers, and business teams to ensure software applications meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business and system requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as:
    • Requirement documents
    • User stories
    • Process flows
    • Use cases
  • Work with developers and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Identify gaps and recommend software improvements.
  • Conduct system analysis and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Support testing activities and validate functionality.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and provide project updates.
  • Ensure software solutions meet quality standards.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with requirement gathering and documentation
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Familiarity with tools like:
    • Jira
    • Confluence
    • Excel
    • Visio
  • Communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Technical Skills

  • SQL and database concepts
  • API understanding
  • Basic programming knowledge (Java, Python, etc.)
  • Testing knowledge (Manual/Automation)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
